OUR THINKING
Building the tools we wish had existed
Programme management in retail technology has accumulated decades of patterns, frameworks and hard-won knowledge — yet much of it remains locked in the heads of experienced practitioners or buried in end-of-project documentation that nobody reads.
Heaford Labs is our space to explore how AI can change that: making delivery knowledge accessible, governance more efficient, and complex procurement processes less painful. These are early-stage concepts being shaped by real delivery experience.

Social Football Statistics App
A Claude based proof of concept application that allows users with appropriate permissions to add / update match details and guests to view the various statistics e.g. games played, goals scored, % own goals, games won. Take a look here.

Conversational requirements gathering tool that guides clients through EPoS selection criteria and automatically generates a structured ITT specification document, drawing on sector-specific knowledge.

AI-powered tool to analyse vendor responses to ITT documents, score them against weighted criteria, and produce a comparative evaluation report for programme boards and steering committees.
Integration Mapper
A tool to capture and visualise complex system integration landscapes — mapping data flows, dependencies and interface specifications across multi-vendor retail technology estates.

Processes programme retrospective notes and lessons-learned logs to identify patterns, surface recurring risks and generate actionable recommendations for future programme planning.
